ROCOR nun to teach at OCU academy

Nun Vassa Larina, a member of the Inter-Council Presence of the Russian Orthodox Church and a nun of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia (ROCOR), will begin teaching at the OCU’s Theological Academy in Kyiv. According to the Academy, Sister Vassa will join the Department of Church-Practical Disciplines starting next academic year.

Despite her formal affiliation with ROCOR, the OCU describes her as “a friend of our autocephalous Church”.

As previously reported by the UOJ, Vassa Larin delivered a lecture in Russian to the academy, celebrated the liturgy in OCU parishes, and interviewed the architect of the UOC Ban.
