Antiochian Archdiocese Board of Trustees Gathers for Spring Meeting in Pennsylvania

May 16, 2025—Under the leadership of His Eminence Metropolitan Saba, the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese Board of Trustees convened its spring meeting at the Antiochian Village Conference and Retreat Center. A day prior, board members visited the Nativity of the Theotokos Monastery in Saxonburg, PA, where they were warmly received by Abbess Mother Theophano and her sisterhood. Metropolitan Saba gifted the monastery an icon of Ss. Nicholas and Habib Khasha.

The meeting addressed societal challenges through a Christ-centered lens, while reports highlighted campus improvements, future plans for a convent, cemetery, and museum. The Antiochian Women announced their Clergy Widows Endowment Fund has reached $1.5 million. Financial reports confirmed fiscal health, and a strategic plan was approved. Updates on the upcoming July convention in Chicago and growth in the Order of St. Ignatius were shared. His Eminence also announced an upcoming pilgrimage for seminarians and clergy to Jordan and Lebanon.
