Patristic Faith Announces Annual Conference in November
PALM COAST — The Patristic Faith Conference, themed “Athens and Jerusalem: Orthodox Art, Philosophy, and Life,” will take place on November 21-22, 2025, at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Palm Coast, Florida.
This two-day event invites attendees to delve into the intricate relationship between philosophy and Orthodox Christian faith, addressing questions about reason, revelation, and the transformative power of encountering the living God.
The conference features a distinguished lineup of speakers, including:
- Met. Jonah (Paffhausen), former Primate of the Orthodox Church in America and abbot of St. Demetrius Orthodox Monastery.
- Fr. Vladimir Kaydanov, rector of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church and professor of art history, who will present on St. Andrei Rublev’s Holy Trinity icon.
- Dn. Ananias Sorem, PhD, CEO of Patristic Faith and philosophy professor.
- Dr. David Patrick Harry, a Religious Studies scholar focusing on New Age spirituality.
- Jay Dyer, an author and cultural analyst known for his work on psychological warfare and film.
Attendees will explore topics such as the Orthodox perspective on natural and supernatural revelation, the role of philosophy in theology, and the experiential nature of faith rooted in the Holy Trinity. General admission is $55 for both days, with refunds available up to seven days prior.
