LONDON — Over 10,000 people gathered in London on September 6 for the annual March for Life, a powerful demonstration against abortion and in defense of the unborn.

Participants from across the UK, predominantly Christians but joined by a growing number of atheists, marched to Parliament Square, undeterred by a small group of pro-abortion counter-protesters and a nearby protest that led to hundreds of arrests.

The day began with services and prayers, reflecting the event’s spiritual core. Supported by Christian leaders like Anglican and Catholic bishops, evangelist Glen Scrivener, and MP Carla Lockhart, the march highlighted unity across denominations.

Co-organizer Isabel Vaughan-Spruce gave a stirring speech to the crowd:

Priceless human beings or worthless bits of tissue—what do you believe and more importantly, how will you respond? Parents, politicians, pastors, police, medics, lawyers, journalists and every single person here must make that choice. These two worldviews cannot co-exist. They can’t both be right. Pick your side but remember what they say: the fence belongs to Satan.

Scrivner, the evangelist, offered this chilling thought: "Most people haven’t even begun to consider the scale of the issue. Globally, we kill more people in utero than who die ex utero."
