Lavra's Christmas services to be broadcast live

According to the UOC Information and Education Department, it will be possible to see the live broadcast of the festive Christmas services to be held at the Holy Dormition Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra by His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry, the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
The services will be broadcast by the ‘Inter’ and ‘Glas’ TV channels. A solemn all-night vigil will begin at 5:30 p.m. on January 6. The Divine Liturgy will be broadcast on 7 January, beginning at 9:00.
Besides the Divine Liturgy, these channels will broadcast holiday-themed programmes. On January 7 at 6.20 a.m. ‘Inter’ will show a documentary ‘From Christmas to Theophany’ filmed in the places of the earthly life of the Saviour. On January 7, a charity marathon ‘At Christmas we open not only presents but also hearts’ will start at 12.20 on the ‘Glas’ TV channel.
Earlier, Metropolitan Onuphry addressed the UOC faithful with a Christmas message.
