WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. President Donald Trump recently published an extended statement on Truth Social in which he criticized the war in Ukraine and expressed condolences for the dead.
“The War between Russia and Ukraine is a violent and terrible one that, with strong and proper U.S. and Ukrainian LEADERSHIP, would have NEVER HAPPENED," Trump wrote.
He added that millions of people have been killed in this war, saying they have "needlessly died." The president also criticized the leadership of Ukraine for being ungrateful to the United States, putting the word “leadership” in quotation marks.
Concluding his message, the U.S. president wrote: “GOD BLESS ALL THE LIVES THAT HAVE BEEN LOST IN THE HUMAN CATASTROPHE!”
Previously, UOJ reported that the governor of Mount Athos had invited Trump to the Holy Mountain.
