Georgian Diocese of North America Appoints New Administrative Council
Bishop Saba to lead newly formed body as clergy and lay representatives begin two-year terms.
ASHLEY, PA — A new composition of the Administrative Council has been formed in the Georgian Diocese of North America. The chairman of the council will be His Grace Bishop Saba.
In a post from the diocese, which was also reported on by UOJ-Georgia, the new members of the council were listed — both those appointed by Bishop Saba, and those elected by the 2025 Plenary Assembly.
They are:
Members appointed by the hierarch, with mandates extended for two years
- Archpriest Nikoloz Zhuravski
- Hieromonk Irineos (Shengelia)
- Mrs. Tea Kutateladze
Members elected by the 2025 Plenary Assembly for a two-year term
- Archpriest Ioseb Mindiashvili
- Mr. Gocha Bachiashvili
- Mrs. Guranda (Tamar) Moistsrafishvili
The council secretary will be Hieromonk Ieronime (Katamadze).
