St. Tikhon’s Monastery to Host Lenten Retreat on March 21

WAYMART, PA — St. Tikhon’s Monastery will hold a Lenten Retreat on Saturday, March 21, 2026, featuring two teaching sessions with Igumen Sophrony and opportunities for prayer and fellowship with the monastic brotherhood.

The retreat begins at 10:30 a.m. with a session and Q&A with Igumen Sophrony, followed by a provided lunch at noon and a second session at 1 p.m. Participants will have time for monastery tours and bookstore visits at 2:30 p.m., followed by the 4 p.m. Vigil and dinner at 6:15 p.m.

The program includes guided tours of the monastery grounds, iconography building, and museum. All participants are invited to return for the Divine Liturgy the following morning, March 22.
