Serb Primate congratulates Patriarch Kirill on anniversary of enthronement

On February 1, 2022, Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia congratulated the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus, on the thirteenth anniversary of his enthronement, the DECR ROC website reports.

Patriarch Porfirije noted that together with the entire Plenitude of the Serbian Orthodox Church, he sends the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church “prayerful wishes to be at the helm of our Sister Russian Orthodox Church for many years and in peace for the good and salvation of the people of God, the priesthood and monasticism entrusted to you.”

“May our Lord Jesus Christ grant the Most Holy Church of Russia in the person of Your Holiness the right to preach the word of His truth in peace, fullness, honesty, good health, and longevity,” wrote Patriarch Porfirije in his congratulatory address.

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that His Holiness Patriarch Kirill was congratulated on the day of enthronement by Catholicos-Patriarch of Georgia Ilia and the Primate of the UOC Metropolitan Onuphry.
