Favor Foundation and Miriane start raising funds for the victims of the war
With the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry, the Favor Foundation, together with the Miriane Public Union, begins raising funds for Ukrainians affected by hostilities.
On its Telegram channel, the Foundation posted an appeal: “Brothers and sisters! During the eight years of its existence, the Favor Charitable Foundation has always fulfilled its main mission – to support everyone who needs help. And today, more than ever, we feel the need to intensify our work and make every effort to help the victims: refugees, the sick, the needy, children and everyone facing a difficult situation due to hostilities in our country.”
The Foundation explained what the charitable contributions will be earmarked for: the funds will be transferred to the parishes of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church that provide humanitarian assistance – they accept refugees, help by the evacuation of the civilian population, and supply Ukrainians with food and medicine.
Requisites for charitable contributions to help those who suffered during the hostilities of the Favor Charitable Foundation:
