Primate of the UOC: May the Lord grant peace to our Ukrainian land
On April 7, 2022, on the day of the feast of the Annunciation of the Most Holy Theotokos, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the church in honor of the Monk Agapit of the Caves of the Holy Dormition Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, the Information and Educational Department of the UOC reports.
After the end of worship, the Primate of the UOC congratulated the faithful on the holiday and invoked on God's blessing the flock.
“Through the prayers of Our Most Holy Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Mary, Who became the Mother of the Uncontainable God, may the Lord bless you and your family, grant peace to our hearts and our Ukrainian land, give everything necessary for earthly life and for eternal salvation,” His Beatitude said.
As the UOJ wrote, on the feast of the Annunciation, the Primate of the UOC celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
