Repentant cleric of Ternopil diocese returns to UOC from schism

The repentant Archpriest Theodore Martyniuk was again accepted into the Ukrainian Orthodox Church

Archpriest Theodore Martyniuk, cleric of the Ternopil diocese, repented of the sin of schism and was again accepted into the UOC. This was reported on the Facebook page of the diocese.

“The administration of the Ternopil diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church officially announces that Archpriest Theodore Martyniuk, the cleric of the Ternopil diocese, rector of the Exaltation of the Cross Church of vlg Dzvyniach of the Vyshnevets deanery of the Ternopil diocese, who was banned from the priesthood, repented for backsliding into schism and was again accepted into the bosom of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church,” the statement says.

As the UOJ wrote, in Volyn the former cleric of the UOC-KP returned from the schism to the Church.
