OCU: The Third Reich saved the world from evil
During a memorial service for “Cossacks who fought in the German army”, OCU “priest” Yaroslav Yasenets stated that the Third Reich saved the world from evil. The video with the sermon of the OCU cleric was posted by the NTP telegram channel. The UOJ found out that the original source of Yasenets' speech is posted on his YouTube channel.
“Our Metropolitan Vasyl Lypkivsky, Russian Metropolitan Joseph of Petrograd, Hieromartyr Pavel Florensky, dozens, hundreds and thousands of others who died glorifying God, convinced more than once that there would be salvation, that God would send saviors,” Yasenets said.
“Then a new force emerged in the West, the heirs of the great Germans, the great Vikings, Siegfried, Germanarich, Friedrich Barbarossa, Wagner, Goethe, Kant, Nietzsche. They were able to unite, and as true knights of Christian Europe, under the auspices of one person (Adolf Hitler – Ed.), founded a state (Third Reich – Ed.), which was built on the correct sacred principles. It set itself the task of saving the world from evil by fighting the communist regime,” said the “priest” of the OCU.
According to him, from the very beginning it was part of God's plan, but "something went wrong." Yasenets is sure that the Nazis came to the Ukrainian, Russian and Belarusian lands with a liberation mission. That is why some Ukrainians fought under their banners.
“These were deeply religious people, those who knew that by their actions they could change something. Unfortunately, everything did not go the way we wanted... Those Cossacks who fought with the Germans against the red executioners retreated to Europe,” added the representative of the OCU.
As the UOJ reported earlier, Yaroslav Yasenets said that Bandera was carrying out God's mission on earth.
