Icons stolen from the church in Vinnitsa Eparchy
In the village of Kurilovka, the icons of the Most Holy Theotokos and the Holy Great Martyr Barbara were stolen from an ancient 160-year-old church.
On the night of November 30, 2019, in the village of Kurilovka in the Khmelnitsky district of the Vinnitsa region, unidentified persons robbed the Transfiguration Church, reports the press service of the eparchy.
Two icons were stolen from the church: the Kozelshchina icon of the Most Holy Theotokos and the Holy Great Martyr Barbara.
As reported earlier, in November the Transfiguration Church in the village of Kurilovka celebrated 160th anniversary. By the efforts of the rector Archpriest Michael Tablenko and his community, the temple was restored.
