Fr. Caleb Lewis Leads Weekend Retreat for Conductors
St. Tikhon’s Monastery will host a February conducting retreat with Fr. Caleb Lewis, offering personalized instruction, workshops, and participation in Divine Services for conductors of all levels.
WAYMART, PA — St. Tikhon’s Monastery will host a winter conducting retreat with Fr. Caleb Lewis, Director of Music, from February 6–8, 2026, offering an immersive weekend for conductors of all levels. Participants will receive one-on-one instruction and feedback from Fr. Caleb to refine their technique and strengthen their conducting skills.
The retreat schedule includes evening sessions on Friday, Divine Liturgy and three workshop sessions on Saturday, and a final session with coffee hour and Q&A on Sunday. Attendees are encouraged to participate in the monastery’s Divine Services throughout the weekend. Light breakfast and lunch will be provided on Saturday, though lodging and transportation are not included.
Discounted registration is available for students and auditors who wish to observe sessions. All workshops will be held in the St. Tikhon’s Music Center above the monastery bookstore in Waymart, Pennsylvania.
