Orthodox Christians Join 2026 March for Life in D.C. in Two Weeks
Orthodox Christians for Life are calling the faithful to Washington, D.C., on January 23 for the 2026 March for Life to celebrate and defend the sanctity of human life.
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Orthodox Christians for Life are inviting faithful to join the 2026 March for Life in Washington, D.C., on Friday, January 23. The event, held on the National Mall, marks the annual commemoration of the 1973 Supreme Court decision Roe v. Wade, while celebrating the sanctity and dignity of every human life from conception to natural death.
Participants will gather at 9:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Cathedral for Divine Liturgy and a breakfast reception, then proceed to the National Mall by noon for the rally. The Orthodox faithful will hold a Service of Supplication for an End to Abortion and sing hymns during the march, which concludes at the Supreme Court by 4:00 p.m.
The Orthodox group encourages all to participate in this joyful and peaceful demonstration, emphasizing the ongoing work to protect life at state and federal levels. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP and follow updates at oclife.org/march.
