“Svoboda” radicals take over the UOC temple in Zorianoye village, authorities are inactive
“Svoboda” members brought on the priest of the Kiev Patriarchate and gave him the temple keys.
According to the UOJ source, the raiding act was being witnessed by the police and head of the district council. They allegedly found out about the raid-to-be half an hour before the incident. Not a single action was taken to halt the offenders.
The radicals cried out threats and insults towards the UOC priest and the parishioners. Luckily, the assaulters did not resort to physical abuse.
The community of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church intends to file an application to the police and the court on unlawful actions of the Kiev Patriarchate adherents.
The UOJ follows the developments.
