Human rights advocates: The "crusade" of the Right Sector has just begun

Representatives of the international human rights organization Human Rights Action (HRA) appealed to the official Kiev with an appeal to put an end to the activities of the Right Sector group. This is reported by the Strategic Culture Foundation with reference to the representative of HRA Anders Berg.

The reason for this appeal was the attacks of nationalists on the diocesan structures of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church throughout Ukraine, the newspaper reported.

"You cannot underestimate such fanatics," Anders Berg stressed. "They represent a powerful paramilitary structure, with which even the Ukrainian President Poroshenko is ready to flirt, and the Interior Ministry is openly afraid of them. Consequently, there are no prerequisites for not believing the Right Sector's intention to institute by "fire and sword" their own policies in the country, including religious ones. Believe me, their "crusade" against "dissenters" and "gentiles" has just begun."

As reported by the UOJ, in the Donbass, the Right sector "grabbed" land for a church of the UOC-KP.

On May 4, 2017, the Synodal Directorate of the Military Clergy of the Kiev Patriarchate and the Right Sector signed a cooperation agreement.
