Graffiti of Maidan times is likened to "icons" and to be restored

Activists and artist Geo Leros agreed on the restoration of graffiti of the Maidan times in Grushevskogo Street. It was reported by the artist himself on his Facebook page, having called these pictures – “icons”.

"The initiative group, among which are the activists of the National Corps, C14 and opir.org, agreed with the author of the triptych – Sociopath, experts in restoration and with the consent of the National Memory Institute to restore the drawings: remove the top layer of the paint, which painted the icons themselves," writes Geo Leros .

So far it is not known when exactly they will begin to restore graffiti.

The police of the capital is conducting an investigation into the destruction of graffiti in Kiev.
