Patriarch Bartholomew is told about persecutions of the UOC in Ukraine
Archbishop of Lvov and Galicia Filaret, who leads the UOC delegation at the symposium, told Constantinople Patriarch Bartholomew about the persecutions the Church has been subject to and church raiding initiated by schismatics. Besides, it was also about the church-state relations in Ukraine.
Patriarch Bartholomew noted the Church of Constantinople would do everything to preserve the canonical structure of the UOC.
