UOC KP sows enmity in Constantinople Patriarchate

Head of the UOC KP – Filaret

As the UOJ found out from its sources, a scandal took place between the UOC KP and the Constantinople Patriarchate in Madrid.

In Spain, representatives of the Kyiv Patriarchate sowed a split among Ukrainians who visited churches in honor of the Apostle Andrew the First-Called and Great Martyr Demetrius of Thessalonica. Both churches belong to the Patriarchate of Constantinople. The schismatics created their own community from part of the parishioners of these temples and settled in the premises of the Ecumenical Missionary Center of Madrid.

Metropolitan Polycarp of Spain and Portugal informed the Catholic bishop that the community of the Kyiv Patriarchate has nothing to do with the canonical Church. The community of KP was asked to leave the Center.

Currently, the schismatics have settled in a semi-basement in one of the residential buildings in Madrid.
