God chose His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kiev and All Ukraine – the most suitable person for the complicated situation the Ukrainian people are being confronted with currently, who will have strength necessary to overcome the schism which occurred in Ukraine,” said Patriarch Theophilus III of Jerusalem during the meeting with an official delegation of the UOC.
The meeting of the official delegation of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church led by Chancellor of the UOC, Metropolitan Anthony of Borispol and Brovary with Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilus III was held on April 6.
