Mass media info on UOC hierarchs prohibited to leave Donbass appears fake
Metropolitan Mitrofan of Gorlovka and Slaviansk attends the ceremony of nominating Archimandrite Spiridon (Golovastov) as Bishop of Dobropolye in Kiev on June 16
Metropolitans Hilarion of Donetsk and Mariupol and Mitrofan of Gorlovka and Slaviansk, which were discussed in the declaration of the Parliamentarian, attended the consecration ceremony of Archimandrite Spiridon (Golovastov) as Bishop of Dobropolye, vicar of the Gorlovka Eparchy, on June 16 at the Holy Trinity Church of the Panteleimon Monastery in Feofania (Kiev).
This is evidenced by photographs and videos published by the Information and Education Department of the UOC and Gorlovka eparchy.
The other day the coordinator of the Information Resistance group, MP Dmitriy Tymchuk disseminated the information that “DNR chiefs” forbade Metropolitans Hilarion of Donetsk and Mariupol and Mitrofan of Gorlovka and Slaviansk to depart from the occupied territory of Donetsk region.” The Parliamentarian told on Facebook that the ban is valid "up to a special order."
The MP and coordinator of the group "Information Resistance" Dmitriy Tymchuk is known for his fake statements about the UOC. He accused the Gorlovka eparchy of cooperation with the separatists, and also saw the "Russian world" in the lessons of Christian ethics. Tymchuk is one of the co-authors of the anti-church bill No. 4511 and openly acknowledged that the new law is directed exclusively against the UOC.
Earlier, journalist and MP Dmitry Tymchuk stated that deputy head of the Department for External Church Relations of the UOC, Protopriest Nikolai Danilevich, was selling coal to “DNR” and “LNR”.
