In Vydubichi Monastery drunken "priest" of UOC KP attempts to kill himself
Vydubichi Monastery (under the UOC-KP jurisdiction)
In the Vydubichi Monastery, belonging to the Kiev "patriarchate", a "priest" attempted to shoot himself, reports Strana.Ua.
On the morning of August 15, the "clergyman" was taken to the Kiev Emergency Aid Hospital with signs of intoxication and a gunshot temple wound by a rubber bullet from a traumatic pistol.
The victim refused to give an explanation, as well as to file a report on a possible offence.
As it turned out later, the "priest" kept Flaubert traumatic weapons and ammunition with charges to them in the cell of the Vydubichi Monastery, where he lived. The police seized the pistols for examination and registered criminal proceedings on the fact of illegal possession of weapons.
The authorities of the monastery plan to conduct their own investigation, as a result of which the suicidee may be "defrocked".
Earlier, it was reported in the media that Vydubichi Monastery rooms are rented out for yoga.
