Cleric of UOC receives the post of "bishop" in UAOC
The "chirotony" of Archimandrite Gavriil (Krizina) took place at the UAOC cathedral in Lvov
The decision to appoint a clergyman of the UOC Gavriil (Krizina) a head of the Rovno-Volyn eparchy of the UAOC was taken on July 25, reports on his Facebook page Ruslan Matviyenko, a representative of the UAOC.
The "chirotony", which took place at the Dormition Cathedral of Lvov was led by the head of the UAOC Makarii Maletich. Before the service, the former cleric of the UOC confessed the Orthodox faith after reading the Creed.
The ceremony was also attended by the former Archimandrite of the UOC Viktor Bed’, who in the search for "his Church" first tried to become a "bishop" of the UOC KP and afterwards transferred to the UAOC.
