Rada Vice-Speaker accuses Poroshenko of “godless exploitation of Tomos”

President Petro Poroshenko presenting the Tomos

Petro Poroshenko godlessly exploits the Tomos and turns the independent Church into the decoration for the election campaign, wrote Verkhovna Rada Vice-Speaker Oksana Syroid on her Facebook page on January 14.

“I’m sorry but President Poroshenko is exploiting the Tomos absolutely godlessly, making the independence of the Church the decoration for his election campaign. For Ukrainians, it was necessary to tear the Church away from the Kremlin for it to serve the interests of society, and not the interests of Bankovaya,” Syroid wrote.

As the UOJ reported, billboards advertising the tour of Petro Poroshenko with the Tomos appeared in Ukraine. On January 13, the President and the OCU head Epiphany brought the Tomos to Vinnitsa.
