Filaret awards activists of "S14" and "Municipal Guard" with medals

Filaret spiritually guiding activists

On May 30, “Patriarch of all Rus-Ukraine” Filaret Denisenko congratulated the activists, among whom was the leader of the radical organization “S14” Yevgeny Karas, on Easter and gave them medals “for fighting with the Russian aggressor”.

He noted that the war revealed the best features of the Ukrainian people, and the soldiers implement the commandment of love.

“War is evil that brings suffering and death. But it revealed the best traits of our people,” the website of the Kiev Patriarchate cites Filaret’s words. “So you fought? Fought! Could you die? Could! Like your comrades and friends. The soldiers who defend their homeland embody God’s main commandment of love.”

During the awarding ceremony, the “Honorary Patriarch” of the OCU thanked the fighters for their love for Ukraine and stressed that the medal is a symbol of the award, and they will receive the true reward from God.

Earlier, Filaret presented the Order to the odious businessman Alexander Petrovsky, who, according to Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko, headed the criminal gang, and rewarded a CIA officer for supporting the OCU.

The UOJ also wrote how the radicals from S14 blocked the entrance to the Holy Dormition Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, fired up the flares and threatened the priests with reprisals.
