On the Holy Trinity eve, a new UOC temple consecrated in Cherkassy Eparchy

On June 13, 2019, on the eve of the Day of the Holy Trinity, Metropolitan Sofrony of Cherkassy and Kanev, head of Cherkassy Eparchy of the UOC, consecrated a church in honor of the Holy Trinity in the city of Zolotonosha, Cherkassy region, the press service of the eparchy reports.
The ruling bishop was concelebrated with the vicar of Cherkassy eparchy, Bishop Ioann (Vakhniuk) of Zolotonosha and the parish clergy.
At the Little Entrance, Metropolitan Sofrony awarded Archpriest Georgy Basaarab, a rector of the newly built church, and at the end of the liturgy mentioned the names of the parishioners who had worked to build the church of God.
Recall, on May 14, 2019, His Eminence Sofrony consecrated a church in honor of St. Alexius, the man of God, in the city of Smila of Cherkassy eparchy.
