In the Cathedral of All Saints of the Volyn Land in Lutsk, the miraculous icon of the Most Holy Theotokos Iveron is plentifully secreting myrrh, the website of Volyn Eparchy reported.
The Icon was brought from the village of Mirnoye, Vinnitsa Region, where one of the 3 myrrh-secreting shrines of St. Paraskeva of Serbia temple is known as the “Kirov Miracle”. On September 25, 2007, parishioners bought an icon in the shop of Brailov Nunnery, while in October of the same year it began to secrete myrrh.
“Archpriest Vitaly, who takes care of and accompanies the icon, noted that upon his arrival in Lutsk, a lot more myrrh than usual began to appear on the miraculous image. Explaining this fact, Father Vitaly pointed out that the intensity of myrrh-streaming depends on the sincerity of the prayer and the large number of prayer appeals of believing Christians to the miraculous icon. After all, in the last 24 hours, thousands of believers who came with their sorrows and requests revered the icon,” the Volyn Eparchy noted.
Recall, on June 27, 2019, the Icon of the Mother of God Iveron arrived in Lutsk, and at 8 pm on June 29, 2019, the shrine would leave the Cathedral of All Saints in Volyn.
