On January 5, 2020, in the village of Grinyava, Verkhovyna District, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, members of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU – Ed.) took over the temple in honor of all the Venerable Saints of the Kiev Pechersk Caves, which is part of the temple complex at the Holy Assumption temple a month ago, the press service of the Ivano-Frankivsk Diocese reports.

Reportedly, the raiders also broke into the church house where the refectory and Sunday school are located.

“The Ivano-Frankivsk diocese requests the local authorities and law enforcement agencies to immediately intervene in the situation, because at Christmas, representatives of the OCU are depriving the Orthodox community of its last shelter,” urges the UOC.

We will remind, on December 8, 2019, two dozen people, who introduced themselves as ATO soldiers, seized the Holy Assumption temple in Grinyava villlage, Ivano-Frankivsk Region.
