On November 23, 2022, a meeting of the Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church began at the residence of the Primate of the UOC on the territory of the Holy Dormition Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. This was reported by the Information and Educational Department of the UOC.
The meeting is chaired by His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine.
Members of the Holy Synod will discuss issues of church life.
Recall that the last time the members of the Synod met on May 12, 2022.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that before the start of the meeting of the Holy Synod, His Beatitude officiated the liturgy at the St. Nicholas Church of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
