On 14 December 2022, SBU officers came with searches to St. George's Cathedral in Lviv, reports varta1.com.ua.

The law enforcers came to the Cathedral accompanied by service dogs.

Since November 2022, the SBU has been conducting searches in monasteries, churches and eparchial administrations of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church on an almost daily basis. According to the agency's press service, the law enforcers are looking for the SRG and traces of the "Russian world" propaganda.

As earlier reported, the SBU searched Kharkiv and Izium eparchies on 10 December.
