Dumenko discusses Orthodoxy issues with dismissed bishop of Georgian Church

On December 21, 2022, Serhiy Dumenko received Archbishop Zenon of Dmanisi and Agarak-Tashiri at his residence. This was reported by the official website of the OCU. The message reads that "the parties discussed the current situation in world Orthodoxy, inter-faith and state-church relations in Ukraine, the ongoing Russian aggression against our state and a number of other topical issues".
In the publication, Archbishop Zenon "is named as head of the Georgian parishes in the UK and Ireland (Georgian Orthodox Church). Meanwhile, he has not been one for more than a month. According to the website of the Public Relations Service of the Georgian Patriarchate, Archbishop Zenon was released from the management of parishes as early as November 16, 2022: "By order of Catholicos-Patriarch Ilia II of All Georgia, on November 15, 2022, in connection with recent developments in the parish of Britain and Ireland, the Synodal Commission of the Georgian Orthodox Church met at the Patriarchate.
Members of the Holy Synod examined in detail the situation and it was decided that Archbishop Zenon should be released from the diocese of Great Britain and Ireland of the Church of Georgia.
On the basis of His Holiness and Beatitude's Decree of November 16, 2022, Archbishop Zenon (Yarajuli), head of Dmanisi and Agarak-Tashiri Diocese of Great Britain and Ireland of the Church of Georgia was released from the leadership of the Diocese of Great Britain and Ireland on November 16, 2022".
