Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stripped 13 clerics of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of their citizenship by decree No 898/2022 of 28 December 2022, reports the Lb.ua.

The resource said that the decree was not officially made public because it contained personal information.

In particular, Zelenskyy stripped Metropolitan Jonathan of Tulchyn and Bratslav, as well as Archbishop Serhiy, the vicar of the Tulchyn eparchy, of citizenship.

The State Migration Service received notification that 13 priests had lost their citizenship. According to the current rules, they can be further deported.

The full list of the 13 people will be published later.

As earlier reported, Zelenskyy hinted at the Church's connection with the terrorist state in the Rada.
