The priest of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church said that the fight against the Church would lead to the loss of support from the West, and then the Armed Forces of Ukraine would receive neither money nor weapons, which would lead to defeat. The video message was posted by the Spiritual Camerton Facebook community.

“Do you want to lose the war? Then start a war against God. Outlaw the Church. Seize temples. Beat and mock the priests. Beat and mock their parishioners. And you will lose the war. Because not a single person in history has won and will not win a war against God – this is an obvious thing,” said the clergyman and cited the words of the American political observer Tucker Carlson, who severely criticized President Zelenskyy for the fight against the Ukrainian Orthodox Churches.

Tucker Carlson called Zelensky a Lenin-like dictator and a dangerous autocrat, who created a “one-party police state” in Ukraine backed with US money.

“Zelensky’s secret police have raided monasteries across Ukraine, arrested dozens of priests—totally without evidence and in violation of the Ukrainian constitution,” Carlson said. He recalled that Zelensky and his cabinet are developing ways to punish Christians for “professing their ancient religion, outlawed in Ukraine.” “You can't send soldiers to churches. You can't arrest dozens of priests for not bowing to you. Entire religions cannot be outlawed,” the American political analyst stressed.

The priest of the UOC explained that criticism of Zelenskyy's actions in the West would lead to the fact that Western politicians would no longer support Ukraine.

“If this continues, there will be no money, no weapons, and we will lose the war,” summed up the cleric of the UOC.

As the UOJ wrote, the Orthodox warrior urged to protect the Church so that the military could defend the country.
