On May 4, 2020, priests of the Nizhyn Eparchy handed over protective masks to help rural doctors during the quarantine period in connection with the coronavirus, and on May 2, 2020, they began the production of antiseptics by the WHO prescription, reports the press service of the eparchy.

On May 4, Archpriest Vladimir Gavyanets, Dean of the Varva District, handed over protective masks to the Zhuravske rural medical dispensary.

On May 2, the Nizhyn Eparchy launched the production of antiseptics by WHO prescription. The first 150 liters of antiseptics were transferred to churches for use by parishioners.

As reported, the Primate of the UOC has blessed all eparchies to participate in the fight against the pandemic.
