On May 4, at a press briefing in Kramatorsk, the head of the Department for Strategic Development of Healthcare and Provision of Medicines for the population of the Donetsk RSA, Alexander Pedenko, said that there were no cases of COVID-19 among the monks of the Sviatogorsk Holy Dormition Lavra, reports “Ukrinform”.
“As of today, those people who live in Sviatogorsk Lavra have not applied for medical care in Slaviansk, and no laboratory tests have been conducted. To date, there are no patients exclusively from the residents of the Sviatogorsk Lavra,” said Pedenko.
In addition, according to him, in the city of Sviatogorsk patients with COVID-19 or with the suspected disease are not registered.
As reported earlier, according to Metropolitan Hilarion of Donetsk and Mariupol, the main method of combating the coronavirus is joint prayer.
