The Chairman of the Ternopil Regional State Administration Mykhailo Holovko said that at the next session, the deputies will initiate an immediate appeal to transfer the Pochaiv Lavra to the use of the OCU, reports the press service of the regional council.
According to him, the transfer of the Pochaiv Lavra to the OCU is the first step towards "banning the Moscow Church on the territory of Ukraine".
“Releasing the country from criminals on the battlefield, we must take care of the liberation from the spiritual yoke,” the governor said.
As reported, the Ternopil Regional Council has created a working group that will study the legality of the UOC ministry in the Pochaiv Lavra.
