In its meeting on February 2, 2023, the OCU "Synod" announced the creation of monasteries in the Volyn Eparchy," reports the OCU website.

Archpriest Mykola Danylevych, deputy head of the UOC DECR said on his Telegram channel that these structures completely duplicate the UOC monasteries that already exist on this territory.

"As I suspected, the OCU has simply created clones of the already existing monasteries of the UOC on the territory of the Volyn and Volodymyr-Volynsky eparchies, namely: Chartoryisk, Myltsi, Mykhnivka and Starosilye. The details are published on their website. Againб there is dubbing, substitution, the intention of raiding, and the formation of parallel structures. Instead of creating something of their own, from scratch, as the UOC does, they are duplicating. It is very unpleasant to watch. It is far from Christianity. But it will come to the end someday. Lawlessness cannot last forever," said the UOC spokesman.

It refers to the following monasteries of the UOC – the Monastery of the Exaltation of the Cross in the village of Stary Chartoryisk (Volyn Eparchy), St. Nicholas Monastery in the village of Myltsi (Volodymyr-Volynsky Eparchy), the Sretensky Сonvent in the village of Mykhnivka (Volyn Eparchy) and the Holy Trinity Convent in the village of Starosilye (Volyn Eparchy).

Three of the four monasteries are monuments of architecture of national importance.

As earlier reported, the OCU "Synod" called on the authorities to ban the UOC.
