Zelenskyy calls Dumenko a "spiritual leader" of Ukrainians

On February 3, 2023, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called the head of the OCU Epifaniy Dumenko a "spiritual leader" of the Ukrainians. The congratulatory note of the head of State on the anniversary of Dumenko's "enthronement" is published on the OCU website.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy highlighted that "by fulfilling the high mission of the leader of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine", Dumenko has become "a spiritual leader for millions of believers".
"Your unyielding patriotic stance and wise pastoral ministry deserve deep respect," the President wrote.
At the end of his note, Zelenskyy expressed "sincere gratitude for practical deeds and prayers for victory over the enemy and peace in the Ukrainian land".
As earlier reported, Zelenskyy congratulated Filaret Denysenko on his 94th birthday. According to the head of State, Denysenko "dedicated his life to serving God, Ukraine and its people".
