Due to the high incidence of coronavirus in the Volyn region on June 4, the regional Commission for Technological-Ecological Safety and Emergency Situations at the Volyn Regional State Administration lifted most quarantine reliefs introduced on May 29. This was reported on the website of the Volyn RSA.

Thus, according to the minutes of the meeting of the TES and ES Commission, quarantine reliefs remain only in relation to passenger traffic.

At the same time, religious events involving parishioners, allowed from May 29 provided that there is no more than 1 person per 10 sq. m., were again banned.

Also, quarantine restrictions were returned for kindergartens, gyms, fitness centers and hotels.

The Regional State Administration reported that the decision to lift quarantine reliefs is due to the high incidence rate per 100 thousand population (incidence rate) in the region: the incidence rate is currently 12.89 with a permissible rate of no higher than 12.

"Unfortunately, the population has perceived the easing of quarantine as the lifting of quarantine, and that is why today we have such disappointing results with morbidity. In some areas of the region, the situation is still very difficult, and we are not talking about the easing at all. As for the rest of the territory, all restrictive measures will remain in place until the situation stabilizes. If by Tuesday we get additional indicators, then in accordance with the changes made yesterday by the Cabinet of Ministers, we will be able to review our decision based on the results of observations of three days, not seven," said Deputy Chairman of the RSA Tatyana Shcherbak.

As reported earlier, on June 5, the Cabinet of Ministers eased quarantine restrictions for services.
