Biden visits St. Michael's Cathedral of the OCU in Kyiv

On February 20, 2023, US President Joe Biden and Ukrainian Head of State Volodymyr Zelensky visited St. Michael's Cathedral in Kyiv. This was reported by the press service of the OCU.
The report noted that Dumenko thanked Biden for the support that the American leader and the US government provide to Ukraine to fight Russian aggression.
“In the conversation, Mr. Biden recalled his previous visit to Kyiv and the St. Michael’s Monastery, as well as his meeting with Bishop Epifaniy in Washington in September 2018,” the press service noted.
After visiting the St. Michael's Cathedral, the leaders of the two countries honored the Ukrainian soldiers who died in the war.
As the UOJ reported, Joe Biden stated the importance of creating a Single Local Church in Ukraine.
