Liturgy in English held for the first time at KTA Academic temple

On June 11, 2020, with the blessing of the rector of the Kyiv Theological Academy and Seminary, Bishop Sylvester (Stoychev) of Belogorodka, the Divine Liturgy in English was first performed at the Academic church in honor of the Nativity of the Mother of God. This was reported by the KTA press service.

The worship was performed by the KTA’s teacher, Hieromonk Panteleimon (Melnik), the liturgical chants were performed by the teacher, Hieromonk Mitrofan (Bozhko) – both clergymen studied English at different times at the Bosset Institute in Switzerland.
