On March 28, 2023, the Holy Synod of Bishops of the Macedonian Orthodox Church at its regular meeting considered the possibility of liturgical concelebrations with the OCU, reports m-p-c.org.

After a lengthy discussion, it was decided not to concelebrate with the “hierarchy” of the OCU until the final settlement of the issue of its status at the level of the entire world Orthodoxy.

As previously reported by the UOJ, Dumenko wanted "communion" with the Macedonian Church.
