On April 19, 2023, the commission of the Ministry of Culture, using grinders, sealed the gallery and part of the 39th building of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.

This was told by one of the inhabitants of the monastery. According to him, the commission of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine (MCIP), which is currently located in the Lower Lavra of the Kyiv Caves Monastery, cut off the locks with the help of a grinder and then sealed the gallery of the Lavra and part of the 39th building.

“It was all with grinders and without documents. The police is protecting these lawless people, while '1 + 1' channel is filming it,” said the monk of the Lavra.

He also said that there is a deputy head of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra Reserve among the members of the commission.

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that a commission of the Ministry of Culture sealed one of the buildings of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
