On April 21, 2023, the police detained a student of the Kyiv Theological Schools who was broadcasting live from the territory of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
During the live broadcast, police officers approached Mykhailo and demanded that he empty his pockets to check their contents.
Finding nothing prohibited in his pockets, the police demanded that Mykhailo get into their car. The lawful request of the seminary student to explain the reason for his detention was ignored.
The police also ignored Mykhailo’s words about his right to a lawyer. They simply took away his phone and interrupted the stream."
As earlier reported, the police had charged four defenders of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
