On April 21, 2023, representatives of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) began checking laptops belonging to the monastics of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.

"KozakTv1" journalists reported that SBU employees were checking laptops in one of the Lavra buildings.

"We cannot confirm whether it is really the SBU because we have not heard anything about new 'security measures'," they said.

"Are the SBU checks also a bonus to the contract of the reserve for 'protection' worth 4.3 million hryvnias?" ask the "KozakTv1" journalists.

As earlier reported, the police cut locks on Building 44 of the Lavra.
