RMA: In Transcarpathia, none of the 623 communities of UOC defects to OCU

The Department of Strategic Communications, Nationalities and Religions of the Transcarpathian Regional Military Administration told zahid.espreso.tv that none of the 623 UOC religious communities operating in the Transcarpathian region has applied to the regional administration for transfer to the OCU since February 24, 2022.
"As of April 18, 2023, there are 623 religious communities of the UOC in the Transcarpathian region. In the period from February 24 to April 19, 2023, the Regional State Administration – the Regional Military Administration did not receive applications for the change of subordination of religious communities of the UOC, which are under the canonical subordination of the Moscow Patriarchate, to the OCU," reports the Transcarpathian Regional Military Administration.
As earlier reported, the rector of the Uzhhorod cathedral will be tried for speaking out against the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.
