Hierarch of UOC: Head of Phanar destroys World Orthodoxy

Instead of the promised peace, Patriarch Bartholomew brought to Ukraine a new, even deeper, church division. Metropolitan Luke of Zaporizhzhia and Melitopol said this in an interview with the Serbian media pouke.org.

“Because of his 'fatherly care', our churches are being taken over today, while his 'spiritual children' from the OCU are harassing, beating and humiliating true Orthodox believers,” Vladyka noted.

The hierarch added that instead of getting together, studying the Ukrainian church issue jointly, and coming to its correct solution, the head of the Phanar did the opposite.

“Using the satanic 'divide and rule' method, he inflicted a serious wound on the catholicity and unity of the entire Church. Therefore, in relation to world Orthodoxy, Bartholomew is a destroyer. Let's talk straight. His action is aimed at the destruction of the true Orthodox Church and the creation of a 'simulacrum' of Ecumenical Orthodoxy, which could easily lead to unification with the Catholics," said the hierarch of the UOC.

His Eminence recalled that it was the see of Constantinople that was most affected by heresiers, and its current head is doing everything for his name to be on the list of apostates from the Orthodox faith.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that Metropolitan Luke called the persecution of the UOC a detoxification of the church body.
