On 14 May 2023, parishioners of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church prayed in front of the seized Transfiguration Church of the UOC in Ivankiv, Kyiv region, reports a UOJ correspondent.
On May 13, 2023, raiders from the OCU seized the Transfiguration Church of the UOC in the village of Ivankiv, Boryspil district. At around 6 a.m., supporters of the OCU cut the locks on the church doors and illegally entered the temple.
The seizure of the church was organized by the local authorities led by the chairman of the Ivankiv district, Oleksandr Kyrychenko. The local police department did not prevent the raiding actions of the OCU activists.
